Slow Tuesday

Things are slow around the office. Completed the first draft of the Enterprise Architecture last week and I’m sat waiting for feedback. I’m supposed to be doing QA on the Records Management Business Case/RFI but trying to get any of the deliverables to review is impossible. Got a list of attendees for the MBA program bit disappointed to see most of the people are coming from the UK firm. There are a few internationals from petro/chemical, Banking, Government and the like but on the whole its UK centric. It does not matter so much as its still a MBA in International Business but it would have been nice to have a more international group.

Went out to dinner last night and had one of the best meals I’ve ever had. From the h'orderves, the wine (a stunning bottle of Louis Jadot), through the delicious fish pot to the sublime Banana Pie with home made mango sorbet everything was perfect. We have never been impressed with Amsterdam dining, not that its not good its never great, the Seafood House Albatross is a unique treat. Between us we have traveled to most corners of the world and eaten in some of the most famous restaurants to be found but it was hard to come up with one that is better. I got the restaurant from a the IENS independent index which seems to be the place to look for fine eating in Holland.
