I’m a total idiot.
Off to San Francisco for the 4th time to the RSA Conference and what do I do only book the bloody Hotel for one night. I managed to book the Gimp in for the whole time but must have messed up on my own application form. Well I guess it will be nice for a change and not have to share with all the other guys. Its funny you come in a couple of days before and the Internet service is fine. Then the conference starts and the net goes down like a lead balloon. There are more script kiddies trying to make a name for themselves than normal conference attendees. You even get cryptology groupies weirdi beardies who have grown to the natural size of their cubical the smell is unbelievable, especially when it rains. In Paris 3 or 4 years ago I thought the stage was going to collapse when all the crypto guys got a bit excited and decided to stand no auditorium was ever designed to take that combined weight. In any case staying on fifth so not that far from the centre on fourth. The weather is always crap hope somebody is giving away free umbrellas. This year I must remember to take my cd drive and 1942 I cannot buy yet another copy to pass the time.
