Bloody central heating had packed up again this morning. Well not strictly true the hot water was working but nothing was going around the pipes. It was clear the boiler was working ok it was the water pressure was low so had to do the normal 15 minute mess around to top the system backup and bleed all the radiators and its working again. Just one of those many jobs I could have done without having to do today.
Had a really great time last night hung out with my girlfriend and watched a movie. Cooked a nice chicken/rice dish sat around chilled and chatted perfect way to spend a Saturday. Meeting with the builder today was ok he’s a real[ nice guy with an excellent approach but his price is sky high. He has quoted me 15 man weeks of labor for a job that should take maximum of 4. Nice but sadly crazy I’m sure he will do great work but at that price I would expect something stunning., whatever way you look at it, its not 6 weeks each for 2 men with another guy for 3 weeks.
Off to get me a roast dinner in a couple of hours cannot wait. My mum was the last person to cooks such a thing for me (cooked it myself a fair few times) and that would have been 7 years ago at least.
