Snowed in for two days this week, I did make a half hearted attempt to get the car off the drive. I can always take the tractor and drag the car onto the road but I can work from home just as easily as I can from the office. I was on the phone till fairly late last night taking part in a Strategy meeting. I made cakes and sat drinking tea, smoking the odd cig and chiming in with the odd comment when called for. A most civilized way to work, bit strange spending three days without seeing another person and talking to anybody face to face.
Last year the water supply to the house froze, this year there has been no such problem. The big achievement this week was a stripped down the garage door and replaced the cables etc. Put it back together and it now works, it even locks. I added four locks two at the bottom and two at the top. It will not stop anybody who is determined but then again nothing really will.
