I've been traveling to Paris on the Talyis for the last month its amazing how many IPhones, IPads and Mac's you see on the train. Its funny that hardly any of them seem to get the Internet working they fiddle about on the on train website without ever getting out of the captive portal. I do own a I-PAD and the one time I did bring it seemed to work fine on the train. My first generation I-Pod touch even works perfectly well. I like the idea of the I-PAD but its not yet a replacement for my corporate laptop. I'm sure it could be if work swapped all its apps to running on the tablet but I don't see that happening anytime soon. Being a Microsoft Shop so much of the software portfolio works best with a Windows PC.
